I won’t lie, I was absolutely devo’d when Latest in Beauty revealed The Dream Box by the British Beauty Blogger the week before pay day – by the time I got paid, it had sold out! Luckily, all was not lost as the lovely Olivia from Beauty from the Fjord was running a blog giveaway to win one of these much sought-after boxes.
After days of tweeting the link, much to the annoyance of my non-beauty loving/blogger followers, I received an email on the Monday to say that I was the winner – what a start to the week! My box arrived on the Wednesday and I soon opened it and had a rummage. I’m still yet to try every product so keep your eyes peeled for a product post soon...
The box contains 15 products, which have a combined value of over £100! Of all the products, I’ve only ever used two, so I was really excited about incorporating the contents to my daily routine. The box contains:
- Bee Good honey & wild mint cleansing water
- Benefit it’s potent eye cream
- Bourjois cream blush
- Charlotte Tilbury lipstick kisses
- Elemis treat your feet foot cream
- Essie polish
- Janjira hand wash
- Kneipp herbal baths
- La Roche Posay thermal spring water spray
- L’Occitane immortelle divine lotion
- Lola kabuki brush
- Makeup Revolution awesome eye shadow & eyebrow palette
- Ren satin perfection bb cream
- Roger & Gallet gingembre rouge
- Too Faced better than sex mascara
This box, as you can see, contains a really good mix of products – perfect for this season too. There are so many that I’ve given the thumbs up before even using, which is a really good sign. I’m currently replacing all my brushes, but really don’t know where it start when it comes to brands. I’m so glad for the kabuki brush, which is multi-purpose (bronzer and blush) – it’s such a good size and I’ll soon be using it!
I’ve also heard really good things about Charlotte Tilbury, particularly the lipstick and I’m really intrigued by this lipstick kiss. The envelope is so cute, too.
I previously found my dream mascara in a Latest in Beauty box (step forward Teeez), so I’m looking forward to seeing how this offering by Too Faced compares. I love the box and the hourglass shape of the wand. It’s fair to say, I’m expecting big things!
I’m also in love with bb cream at the moment and after trying Rimmel and Clarins, Ren is next on my list – I’ve never heard of the brand before.
Thank you again to Olivia for such a fabulous giveaway!Did you manage to snap up a BBB Dream Box? What were your favourite products?
