Haul | Ciaté

There is only one brand I really consider when it comes to nails and that’s Ciaté. They are the true innovators when it comes to trends, particularly in the textured manicure department. I believe they have a polish for everyone, whatever the colour, finish or texture. I absolute adore their website at this time of year, not only because they have the Mini Mani Manor Advent Calendar, but because there are so many cute gift sets and you’re likely to pick up a bargain with ‘older’ colours and kits! I’m currently loving the Tree Trinkets – a mini polish trapped in a plastic bauble, complete with ribbon and tag so you can hang it from your Christmas tree!
Ciaté were offering free Tree Trinkets (£8, or two for £12) on orders over £20, so I went a bit mad, qualifying for free delivery in the process. I needed all of these things, right?
I cannot wait to try this product out – how good is it going to look for Christmas party season?! It sounds so easy to use too, it’s as simple as adding the sealant to your lips, rolling on the glitter and brushing away the excess. It’s such a clever idea and totally up my street – what better way to add a bit of sparkle to your pout!
Ciaté have four chocolatey scented nail polish removers and I was totally torn between the mint chocolate and white chocolate varieties. After reading good things about the latter, I decided to bite the bullet and purchase it (is £10 too much to spend?) – and omg, it’s absolutely lush! Of course, there’s the acetone smell and it’s still a solvent, but it smells so good. There’s that slight milkybar scent. Because it contains Vitamins E and B5, it conditions the nails and keeps them strong. It’s definitely my new favourite and well worth the money.
Jewellery box is a glitter polish and dependent on the number of coats you use, can appear grey or black – with the sparkle, think granite. It looks beautiful in the bottle but it looks even better once applied to your nails. It’s really spectacular, dazzling in the light. It’s what I call a showy polish. And would look great with silver statement jewellery.  It lasted about five days and even with a base coat, was difficult to remove. I recommend wrapping cotton balls soaked in nail polish remover to each finger, holding in place with foil or cling film and leave for 5-10 minutes. You could even get someone to apply a face mask whilst you relax!
This tiny bottle of micro pearls are a sure fire way of adding texture to your nails and I’m loving the gold – particularly for the festive and party season. I’ve bought and used the caviar manicure kit and while it can be messy, I just adore the effect. I could not resist this mini and I’m sure I’ll be sporting a textured accent nail on Christmas Day!
Just so you know, I chose my tree trinket in All Aglow – a gold glitter polish with flecks of red... just to continue that festive theme!
Have you bought anything from Ciaté recently? I’d love to see your favourite winter shades.
